It’s a new year, so it’s time to do some new year’s resolutions. Mine is to colocate my unit tests!

When I’m playing any game - cardboard, electronic, or even some sort of physical game - whenever I am moderately inconvenienced, I’ll say, “Bad Game.”

On My Recent Hiatus

I know no one is keeping tabs on this site, but I figured this might be the best time to make a note that I’ve not written for this site in a month. That’s a bit of a break but it’s not like I wasn’t making stuff. I’ve been hard at work on a new site that I’ve wanted to make for some time. I know this will probably get the same amount of online cred as this site, so to sum up I’m excited.

Spicy Statements

I play a variety of role-playing games. I started playing Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition — what a start. I’ve played D&D 5th edition, Pathfinder, Numenera, and GURPS (which is my favorite). I’ve played Final Fantasies 4, 6, 7 & 8, I’ve played The Legend of Zelda 1, 2, OoT, LttP, MM, LA, OoA, OoS, WW, TP, SS, BotW. I’ve played Fallout 1–4, NV (but never 76). I’ve played, and replayed Mass Effect 1–3. I loved KOTOR. I’ve Played Elder Scrolls 1–5 (never online COME ON BETHESDA). I love these games, and they’re (generally) dubbed RPG’s; but these are wildly different games. When I think about it at it’s core, D&D isn’t an RPG.

Where I found Vim

I remember a time before I used a text editor, and when I didn’t know that plain text and formatted text were two distinct and different things. I didn’t start using Vim until after I had been introduced to IDE’s such as Visual Studio and Eclipse. I had even learned about other (albeit heavier) text editors; Sublime, Atom, and Notepad++ were all introduced to me, the University Student with a Windows Laptop.
